Jonny Loquasto

Jonny Loquasto

  • AXS TV
  • “Wrestling Compadres Slamcast” on FOX Sports

Jonny Loquasto began life in the lovely town of Northampton, Pennsylvania. He ate everything put in front of him as a child and topped it all with tartar sauce, eventually tipping the scales at 165 lbs in 6th grade. Obsessed with sports, JL convinced himself that he was going to be the next Charles Barkley.

After promptly getting cut from his high school basketball team every year, Jonny went onto the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and somehow walked on their Division II college basketball team. He even played (barely)! He was the last guy off of the bench, but made the most of his sitting time by talking trash to opposing players and spiking his hair up into a distorted version of an afro. Eventually, Jonny graduated with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and has worked with patients ranging from pediatric to professional athletes to geriatrics. Shortly after graduation, he convinced himself that he was still a funny fat kid at heart and was determined to have a career in entertaining others.

Jonny now resides in Los Angeles and never sleeps enough thanks to staying busy as a comedian, host, and actor. He’s the host and co-creator of the Wrestling Compadres Slamcast on FOX Sports and had a fun run as the host of AXS Live on AXS TV. As a comic, he’s performed nationally on Comics Unleashed, Gotham Comedy Live on AXS TV and Standup & Deliver on NUVO TV. Jonny has also had the honor of entertaining our troops in the Middle East and Africa with Armed Forces Entertainment multiple times, along with creating the Ringside Salute Tour. He can be seen every week as a play-by-play commentator for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, and JL was also the captain of the Whistle Sports Epic Tour, which took him to major college football rivalries across the country, with their episodes garnering well over a million views. He’s also very active with the amazing charity organization Regular Hero, which can be found at www.RegularHero.org.
