  • Nick Malis is the Executive Producer and Head Writer of Tosh.0 on Comedy Central.

Born and raised in New York City’s SoHo district, Malis graduated from Harvard University where he was an editor of the Harvard Lampoon.

Early in his career, Malis was an intern and writer for The Howard Stern Show, as well as a joke writer for Joan Rivers. He went on to write and produce various television shows such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Biggest Loser, Run’s House, Mind of Mencia, and Attack of the Show before working on Tosh.0 since its first episode in 2009.

Malis is also the creator of the popular blog Cute Things Falling Asleep which features videos of babies and animals dozing off, complete with ratings of 1-5 for cuteness and sleepiness. Thanks to the blog’s overwhelming success, Malis was a featured guest on CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, The Bonnie Hunt Show and The Today Show, as well as the subject of a Time magazine article and New Yorker cartoon about the site.

In addition to his frequent appearances on Tosh.0, Malis can be seen doing standup comedy around Los Angeles.
